On October 29, the 2025 Tokyo Motor Show kicked off, and BYD made an official announcement, revealing its first pure - electric K - car model, the Racco, which is tailor - made for the Japanese market. This vehicle is set to start pre - sales in Japan during the summer of 2026.
The Racco boasts a boxy design. Its dimensions are 3395mm in length, 1475mm in width, and 1800mm in height. It can comfortably seat four passengers, fully complying with the Japanese K - car standards. In terms of power, the Racco is outfitted with a 20kWh battery pack. This enables it to achieve a WLTC (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Cycle) range of roughly 180km. Moreover, it supports 100kW fast charging, allowing for a quick recharge.
As for the price, it is estimated to be around 2.6 million yen, which is approximately RMB 121,000.
