Serving as the nation's premier land port for automobile exports, Xinjiang's Horgos Port has experienced a remarkable upswing in vehicle shipments. Data released by Horgos Customs reveals that between January and August 2025, the port handled the export of 258,000 vehicles, reflecting an 8.5% increase compared to the same period the previous year and establishing a new all-time high. Notably, electric vehicle (EV) exports reached 102,000 units during this timeframe, surging by 45.2% on a year-on-year basis.
