At this event, the company officially introduced its cutting-edge third-generation electric bus technology platform, along with unveiling the industry's first kilovolt platform tailored for electric buses. This strategic move is aimed at solidifying the notion that "electric buses outperform their fuel-powered counterparts," marking a significant leap forward in sustainable transportation. In tandem with this announcement, BYD also launched its new electric bus model, the C11, which is built upon this advanced platform, thereby accelerating the electrification process within the road passenger transport sector. Since embarking on its journey in 2008, BYD has committed over 14 billion yuan to the research and development of new energy commercial vehicles, amassing an R&D team that now boasts more than 7,000 dedicated professionals.
