On September 15, the Guangzhou Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau unveiled its plan. According to the plan, by the end of 2025, the city aims to have 600 intelligent and orderly charging stations and 130 intelligent and orderly battery swap stations seamlessly connected to the government regulatory platform. Additionally, there will be 28,000 intelligent and orderly charging piles deployed. Furthermore, the aggregated resources for vehicle-grid interaction are projected to reach a total of 430,000 kilowatts when connected to the Guangzhou Virtual Power Plant platform. By the close of 2025, it is anticipated that the number of V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) charging piles and V2G vehicles that regularly engage in peak shaving and valley filling will each surpass 1,000. In terms of V2G discharge, the plan sets targets of no less than 1.5 million kilowatt-hours for 2025, no less than 2 million kilowatt-hours for 2026, and no less than 2.5 million kilowatt-hours for 2027.
