On September 14, the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce officially unveiled a special initiative aimed at bolstering automobile consumption in Guangzhou. From September 15 to 30, car buyers will be eligible for subsidies of up to 5,000 yuan. The total budget for this subsidy program is set at 300 million yuan, and the subsidies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

During the promotion period, individual consumers who purchase new passenger cars with a price tag of 100,000 yuan or more (inclusive of taxes) from participating auto dealers and subsequently complete the motor vehicle registration process will qualify for the subsidy. To be more specific, for vehicles with an invoice amount (inclusive of taxes) ranging from 100,000 to 200,000 yuan, a subsidy of 4,000 yuan will be granted. For purchases exceeding 200,000 yuan, a subsidy of 5,000 yuan will be awarded. It should be noted that each consumer is entitled to only one subsidy.

Moreover, consumers will also have the opportunity to receive a complementary benefits package, valued at no less than 1,000 yuan or 2,000 yuan, which is provided by the event platform.
