On September 12, SAIC MG unveiled its "Brand-New MG4 Delivery Guarantee." Under this initiative, if customers do not receive their vehicle within 39 days of confirming their order, they will be entitled to a daily subsidy of 50 yuan for each day of delay, with the total subsidy not exceeding 2,000 yuan. The brand-new MG4 was officially launched on August 29, and within just 15 days, more than 26,000 orders had been confirmed, significantly surpassing the anticipated monthly production capacity. Although the production facility has adopted a three-shift operation to enhance output, the demand continues to exceed the available supply. The vehicle dimensions are 4,395x1,842x1,551 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. It comes equipped with an intelligent vehicle-machine connectivity system and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. Regarding powertrain, all variants are fitted with a front-mounted single motor boasting a maximum power output of 120 kW. Customers can choose between two battery capacity options, offering driving ranges of 437 km and 530 km, respectively. Furthermore, a semi-solid-state Anxin version (Anxin Edition, translating to "Peace-of-Mind Edition") will be released, featuring identical power specifications to the pre-sale models.
