The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, along with seven other departments, has jointly released the Work Plan for Fostering Steady Growth in the Automotive Industry (2025 - 2026). This plan lays out several pivotal goals: By 2025, the aim is to achieve annual car sales of roughly 32.3 million units, which would be a year-on-year increase of about 3%. Specifically, sales of new energy vehicles are projected to reach approximately 15.5 million units, signifying a year-on-year surge of around 20%.
