On September 11, Li Auto's Legal Division released a statement revealing its recent discovery of online black public relations activities and black water army operations. These entities have been maliciously tarnishing Li Auto's brand image and product quality through methods such as slanderous attacks and the dissemination of false information. Such actions have severely disrupted market order, infringed upon consumer rights, and impeded the healthy development of the industry.
Following thorough verification, it was found that 332 accounts, belonging to 13 MCN agencies under a specific network technology company, had engaged in defamatory activities against Li Auto. These activities included plagiarizing and rewriting articles, as well as fabricating false information in bulk to malign the product quality and business conditions of Li Auto.
Furthermore, multiple MCN agencies and their associated accounts, controlled by a certain technology center and an equipment company, had concocted false information regarding the yet-to-be-released Li Auto i6 model. This included claims of overburdened complaint lines, a drastic drop in monthly sales, and unreasonably low prices, all aimed at tarnishing the model's market performance.
In addition, self-media accounts such as 'Cao Chun's Electric Vehicle Diary' and 'Dalinzi Loves Charging' had persistently published defamatory content that belittled Li Auto. They misled the public by fabricating facts and distorting interpretations.
Li Auto has now secured relevant evidence and is prepared to hold these entities legally accountable through criminal reporting, administrative complaints, civil lawsuits, and other appropriate legal channels.
