Today (the 11th), reporters obtained information from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers indicating that, for the first time ever, China's auto production and sales volumes both exceeded the 20 million unit threshold in the first eight months of this year. According to the data, from January to August, the country's auto production volume reached 21.051 million units, while sales volume hit 21.128 million units, marking year-on-year increases of 12.7% and 12.6%, respectively. Notably, within this period, the production and sales volumes of new energy vehicles stood at 9.625 million units and 9.62 million units, respectively, showcasing year-on-year growth rates of 37.3% and 36.7%. These figures account for a substantial 45.5% of the total sales of new vehicles.
