Recently, the first model to emerge from Beijing Benz's cutting-edge MMA platform—the all-new, fully electric CLA—has officially rolled off the production line. This vehicle is a technological marvel, featuring the innovative MB.OS architecture, advanced urban and highway pilot assist driving systems, a state-of-the-art two-speed gearbox, and an 800V high-voltage electrical system. Scheduled for market release this autumn, the CLA is poised to make a significant impact.

Its urban and highway pilot assist driving capabilities are powered by localized technological solutions, tailored to meet the specific needs and conditions of the regions it will serve. Inside the cabin, passengers are greeted with a connected-style screen setup, including a generous 14-inch entertainment display for the front passenger. The vehicle is also outfitted with the fourth-generation MBUX system, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.

Previously announced specifications reveal that the CLA will be driven by a single motor, capable of delivering a maximum power output of 200 kilowatts. Paired with a two-speed gearbox, this setup promises smooth and efficient performance. Under CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) conditions, the vehicle boasts an impressive range of up to 866 kilometers, making it a formidable contender in the electric vehicle market.
