On September 11, 2025, during the '2025 Mobility Intelligence Dialogue' event, Chen Shihua, who serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), disclosed that a recent survey conducted by the association among automotive component firms revealed a stark polarization within the industry. Some companies are capitalizing on the year-end market promotion surge to expedite their supply deliveries to vehicle manufacturers. In contrast, others are recalibrating their production capacities and cutting back on shipments. Despite achieving some initial successes in payment cycle management, certain component companies still harbor concerns regarding the payment abilities of vehicle manufacturers. Chen Shihua emphasized that payment cycle management represents a long-term endeavor and cannot be resolved hastily.
