On Wednesday, Jaguar Land Rover announced that it had fallen victim to a cyberattack, which led to the theft of certain data and the consequent suspension of its vehicle assembly operations. The British automaker, renowned for manufacturing Land Rover and Range Rover models, issued a statement confirming the theft of "some data." Under British legislation, companies operating within the UK are mandated to inform the Information Commissioner’s Office within a three-day window upon discovering a data breach.
