The rollout of Li Auto's VLA remote summon function has been halted in response to recent reports. Li Auto clarified that since the introduction of its VLA advanced driving assistance technology framework, it has consistently adopted a cautious approach to the introduction of new features. Beginning September 10, Li Auto will deploy the VLA driver large model and its associated functions to its L series and MEGA models, which are equipped with the AD Max advanced driving assistance system. This deployment aims to enhance a range of driving assistance capabilities. The VLA remote summon function, which is built upon Li Auto's self-developed VLA driver large model, enables remote parking and other related features. However, Li Auto has commenced the rollout of its OTA 8.0 update today, and notably, this update does not encompass the VLA remote summon function.
