On September 10, 2025, the China Automobile Dealers Association unveiled the results of its “Automobile Dealer Inventory” survey for August 2025. The data revealed that the comprehensive inventory coefficient for automobile dealers in August stood at 1.31. This figure marked a 3.0% decrease from the previous month but showed a significant 12.9% increase compared to the same period last year. Notably, the inventory level, while below the warning threshold, still remained above the generally accepted reasonable range.
