Horizon Robotics has announced a significant milestone, shipping over 10 million units of its Journey family of chips by August 2025. This achievement marks Horizon Robotics as the first domestic smart driving technology enterprise to reach such a production scale. The company has forged collaborations with over 40 automakers globally, encompassing more than 400 vehicle models, and maintains a commanding market position. The Journey 6 series chips feature a cutting-edge BPU architecture, offering computing power ranging from 10 to 560 TOPS, catering to the needs of L2-level to full-scenario urban assisted driving. Notably, the Journey 6B chip has been successfully activated, and the camera platform developed by Bosch based on this chip is anticipated to enter mass production in 2026. The Journey 6E/M chips have secured firm partnerships with more than 20 automakers, with several new vehicles equipped with these chips being unveiled at the Chengdu Auto Show. The high-performance Journey 6P chip, boasting a computing power of up to 560 TOPS, will be featured in the EXEED ET5 model, set for mass production in November 2025. Moreover, Horizon's HSD solution has also established fixed-point collaborations with numerous automakers for various models, further solidifying its position in the smart driving market.
