Effective September 1, the new national standards for electric bicycles will officially come into force. These regulations stipulate that all newly manufactured electric bicycles must adhere to the updated standards, which emphasize enhanced safety measures such as fire prevention, flame retardancy, and improved braking performance. Additionally, transitional periods have been established for production and sales to align with the new standards. Furthermore, a suite of new regulations will also take effect on September 1, encompassing various sectors. Highlights include the exemption of conservation and education fees for senior classes in public kindergartens, new preferential policies for student train tickets, and financial interest subsidy programs for personal consumer loans under 50,000 yuan. These measures are aimed at promoting education, transportation accessibility, and consumer welfare.
