The Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce has announced the temporary suspension of the 'Replacement and Upgrade' subsidy program for automobiles, effective from August 30, 2025. Customers who have secured invoices for both their new and old vehicles prior to August 29 will be eligible to submit subsidy applications once the 'SuiCheGou' WeChat mini-program undergoes its system upgrade. The exact timing for this upgrade will be disclosed in a separate announcement. Additionally, participating dealerships are mandated to promptly notify consumers about this policy change.
