The Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce announced on August 30 revisions to the 2025 automobile "replacement and renewal" policy, suspending the subsidy program as of 00:00 on that date. Consumers who procured new or used vehicles with official sales invoices dated August 29 or earlier will be eligible to apply for subsidies once the "Suichegou" WeChat Mini Program undergoes a system upgrade.
