On August 23, the China Automotive Engineering Research Institute (CAERI) announced that the State Administration for Market Regulation had approved its plans to establish a National Hydrogen Energy Automobile Industry Metrology and Testing Center. This initiative aims to elevate the core competitiveness of the automotive sector and provide crucial technical support for the burgeoning hydrogen energy automobile industry. Currently, China's hydrogen energy automobile industry grapples with challenges such as inadequate key metrology and testing technologies, limited on-site metrology and calibration capabilities, and underdeveloped specialized testing equipment. Consequently, CAERI will persist in enhancing its hydrogen energy measurement and testing capabilities, tailored to the evolving needs of the hydrogen energy automobile industry.
