On August 22, NIO officially unveiled and commenced presales for its latest ES8 SUV, heralding a new era in full-scenario technology. Scheduled for launch and delivery in late September, this flagship model boasts an array of advanced features. It is powered by in-house Shenji NX9031 and Qualcomm 8295 chips, and incorporates NIO's pioneering NIO Pilot Plus chassis system along with front and rear five-link independent suspensions. Standard features include a dual-chamber air suspension with CDC, providing a maximum travel of 100mm and a remarkably tight turning radius of just 5.7m. NIO CEO Li Bin highlighted that despite its larger dimensions compared to the BMW X7, the new ES8 boasts a turning radius smaller than that of the BMW X3.
