The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has highlighted that Tesla has repeatedly delayed the submission of accident reports, with some instances spanning several months. As per regulations, companies are required to submit these reports within one to five days after being notified of an incident. Tesla has attributed these delays to issues with data collection and assured that the problem has been rectified.
