On August 14, Li Auto (02015.HK) unveiled a revamped sales and service system structure, dismantling the previous 'Five Major Theater Commands' framework and transitioning to a model where headquarters directly oversees 23 regions. As part of this transformation, Han Xi, former Central Region head, has been named head of the newly created Sales Operations department. Additionally, Li Auto has introduced two new departments: Sales Operations and Marketing. The company cited insufficient granular management as a challenge faced by the former 'Five Major Theater Commands' model, and emphasized that this restructuring aims to enhance operational efficiency. Furthermore, Li Auto aims to capitalize on the launch of its new i8 model, which has undergone configuration refinements and is set for delivery beginning August 20, to drive sales growth.
