Guangzhou has recently unveiled the country's pioneering residential vehicle-to-grid (V2G) pilot program, enabling homeowners with electric vehicles to contribute excess power back to the grid utilizing V2G technology. According to CCTV News, Mr. Zhao, a resident of Liwan District in Guangzhou, has already embarked on this initiative, profiting from a tariff differential of 0.5-0.7 yuan per kWh through reverse power feeding. Furthermore, he stands to receive financial incentives in the future.
