Xiaomi has officially rolled out the Surge OS 2.0 Beta update for the Xiaomi 15 and other compatible devices, emphasizing the enhancement of system interaction and stability. This update introduces a revamped power button function, enabling users to wake XiaoAI directly via a long press for seamless voice interaction. Additionally, users can customize their settings to restore the classic shutdown and restart menus if preferred. To prevent accidental activations, the system's forced restart trigger time has been extended to 12 seconds. This functional upgrade, with a firmware size of 360MB, maintains the existing interface with minimal changes. Xiaomi cautions that the Beta version may exhibit some instabilities and advises users to proceed with caution.
