Affected models span from the iPhone 12 mini to the iPhone 14 Pro. This development runs counter to Apple's pledge in 2024 to enhance support for third-party accessories. As a temporary solution, impacted users can downgrade to iOS 18.5 or replace their batteries with original Apple batteries. To date, Apple has not officially addressed the root cause of the issue nor provided a timeline for a resolution.
