In Huaqiangbei, Shenzhen, Guangdong, the trading of second-hand mobile phones has witnessed a significant upsurge. Notably, products priced above 4,000 yuan now make up over 68% of the market share. This year, second-hand mobile phone prices have defied the typical depreciation trend over time, largely due to the escalating costs of memory components. Among these devices, 99-new or merely unsealed second-hand phones are particularly sought after. These phones, which are priced 500 to 1,000 yuan lower than their brand-new counterparts, have become hot commodities, leading merchants to actively seek out and recycle them.
