The development of the National AI Application Pilot Test Base (Home Furnishings and Appliances Sector) has officially kicked off in Qingdao. Spearheaded by Haier Smart Home, this base unites industry players from various fields. Its primary objective is to establish a globally renowned pilot testing platform for the next generation of smart home appliances. This initiative will drive the transformation of AI innovation within the home furnishings and appliances industry, shifting from isolated endeavors to collaborative efforts. It will tackle prevalent issues such as technology transfer, interoperability, cooperation, and widespread adoption.
The base will cultivate five fundamental capabilities: product and scenario testing, industrial pilot testing, large-scale promotion, standardization, and safety assurance. Additionally, it will serve a threefold purpose: fostering industrial chain collaboration, commercializing technological advancements, and deploying high-quality applications. By establishing two pivotal platforms—the supply-demand interaction platform and the application service marketplace—the base will facilitate seamless operations between demand and technological achievements. This will provide robust support for the intelligent transformation of the home furnishings and appliances sector, accelerating the widespread and standardized integration of AI technology.
