Apple's upcoming budget-friendly smartphone, the iPhone 18e, is rumored to hit the market in the spring of 2027, boasting a cutting-edge A20 processor. Insider information from Digital Chat Station suggests that the device's design will likely follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, the iPhone 17e. Apple's e-series smartphones have consistently prioritized enhancing core performance over significant aesthetic overhauls. The iPhone 18e is expected to sport a 6.12-inch 60Hz LTPS OLED display, a single 48-megapixel rear camera, and a front-facing camera that could see an upgrade to 24 megapixels. Additionally, it will reportedly come equipped with 12GB of RAM as standard, ditch Face ID in favor of side-mounted Touch ID for authentication.
