The REDMI K100 smartphone is slated for its official debut at 7 p.m. on October 27. Wang Xiaoyan, Senior Vice President of Xiaomi Group and President of the China Region, disclosed that pre-orders for the REDMI K100 have witnessed a notable surge following a competitor’s recent unveiling of a new phone. Remarkably, nearly 70% of pre-order customers are under the age of 30, marking the highest proportion among all standard versions of the K series thus far. Wang Xiaoyan noted that during this year’s Double 11 shopping festival, young consumers are more inclined to spread out their purchases and opt for proven, reliable products. The announced features of the REDMI K100 standard version include: a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, complemented by a dedicated gaming display chip D2, a spacious 6.83-inch screen with a 165Hz refresh rate and 3500nits of peak brightness, incorporating Xiaomi’s Qingshan Eye Protection 4.0 technology, and boasting a 480Hz multi-finger touch response rate along with a 3500Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate. The device is equipped with a 10,000mAh battery containing 28% silicon-carbon content and supports 100W fast charging. It comes pre-loaded with Xiaomi HyperOS 4 and offers extreme graphics and dedicated display super-framing capabilities for Honor of Kings, natively supporting the 165fps mode in over 40 games and frame interpolation for seamless gameplay in more than 100 games.
