Apple has officially launched its inaugural foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo. The inner screen of this device features a matte display coating protective layer, specifically designed to minimize the appearance of creases. Through testing, it has been discovered that the inner screen comprises two layers of film. The top matte layer can be manually peeled off, transforming the screen's finish to glossy. Apple has officially clarified that the phone's inner screen employs a specialized nano-texture process aimed at reducing glare and reflections. This process is complemented by an optically transparent adhesive that helps alleviate folding stress and minimize creases. The official repair fee for the inner screen stands at RMB 7,998. However, customers who have opted for AppleCare will only need to pay RMB 628. Additionally, the official price for reapplying the matte coating is RMB 398, with AppleCare customers enjoying a reduced rate of RMB 139.
