On October 13, 2026, Apple hosted a product launch event, introducing its inaugural smart home hub—the HomeView—alongside the second-generation HomePod mini smart speaker and the latest Apple TV 4K. The HomeView features a 7-inch Liquid Retina display, is powered by the A18 chip and next-generation Siri, and supports a range of functions including music playback, video calls, home surveillance, and smart home control, with a particular focus on privacy and data security. The device comes in both tabletop and wall-mounted versions, each priced at $299 (approximately RMB 2,005), and will be available in markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia starting November 13.

However, the HomeView cannot fully operate all AI functions independently. Users who wish to access personal information, retrieve text messages and calendar events, or perform cross-application tasks based on personal data will still require an iPhone or iPad equipped with Apple Intelligence and the next-generation Siri. Furthermore, Apple announced partnerships with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric to introduce complementary products, including smart cameras, thermostats, and door locks.

Given that Siri AI has not yet been integrated into iOS systems in the European Union, the HomeView will not be available for sale in the EU at this time. The second-generation HomePod mini is priced at $149 (with the Chinese version adjusted to RMB 1,099), available in five color options, powered by the S10 chip, offering an enhanced audio experience, and featuring the new Sound Glow function. It will officially go on sale on October 30. The new Apple TV 4K is priced at HKD 2,399 (approximately RMB 2,050) and will be officially available starting November 13.
