On October 13, Apple officially rolled out the HomePod mini 2 smart speaker, which is set to hit the shelves on October 30 with a price point of 999 yuan. Notably, it stands as the sole product from this event to feature a version tailored for the Chinese domestic market. The speaker comes in a palette of five hues: pink, green, blue, white, and midnight. It is equipped with a full-range driver and dual passive radiators, enabling stereo pairing, sound recognition, as well as temperature and humidity sensing capabilities. The wireless connectivity has been enhanced to Wi-Fi 6E standard, and the international version offers support for Apple's Siri AI functionality.
