OnePlus has joined forces with BOE to unveil the fourth-generation Dongfang display, which is set to make its global premiere on the highly anticipated OnePlus 16. This flagship smartphone is scheduled for release on October 12 at 7:00 PM. The display upgrade centers on enhancing visual quality, smoothness, and dynamic clarity.
The two industry leaders have co-developed X4 luminescent materials, upgraded the display technology production line, and implemented a cutting-edge three-step calibration approach. These advancements aim to elevate picture transparency and color precision, delivering an unparalleled viewing experience.
Moreover, the display supports hardware-level 1nit low-brightness output, ensuring optimal visual comfort in dimly lit environments. It also boasts a new LTPO ultra-high refresh rate circuit, offering a standard global refresh rate of 165Hz and peaking at an impressive 185Hz during gaming sessions. To further enhance clarity in fast-paced game scenes, the display incorporates ultra-dynamic clarity technology and OnePlus's proprietary P4 super display chip.
In terms of eye protection, the OnePlus 16's display adopts next-generation eye care technology, earning TÜV Rheinland's Smart Eye Protection 6.0 certification. It offers a suite of eye care features designed to reduce eye strain and fatigue. Additionally, the display features an ultra-narrow 1.15mm four-sided equal-width bezel design, supports full-scenario sunlight readability, and integrates 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition for enhanced security and convenience.
