Tech aficionados have successfully upgraded the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 Gen 10 gaming laptop by fine-tuning the VRAM BIOS settings and voltage-frequency curve. This modification allows the RTX 5070 Ti mobile GPU to ramp up its power draw from the standard 140W ceiling to a hefty 160W. During the 3DMark Steel Nomad benchmark test, the modified GPU delivered a notable performance boost, achieving a score roughly 16% higher than the previous best for the same model. However, this power surge came with a corresponding 14.3% spike in energy consumption. It's important to note that this enhancement is currently exclusive to driver version 616.92, limiting its applicability for the time being.
