UGREEN has officially introduced its inaugural Thunderbolt 5 eGPU dock, retailing for 3489 yuan. This dock is outfitted with dual interfaces: Thunderbolt 5 and OCuLink. The Thunderbolt 5 interface boasts a remarkable transmission rate of up to 80Gbps, with a dedicated graphics card bandwidth of 64Gbps. It maintains backward compatibility with USB4, Thunderbolt 4, and Thunderbolt 3 protocols, facilitating the use of mainstream graphics cards. For UGREEN NAS enthusiasts, the product also enhances hardware acceleration capabilities.
The dock is powered by an 850W gold-rated power supply that adheres to the ATX 3.1 standard, ensuring stable operation of RTX 40 and 50 series graphics cards while providing a swift 140W fast charging capability for laptops. The chassis is constructed entirely from aluminum and, by default, accommodates graphics cards up to 370mm in length.
In terms of expandability, the dock features three Thunderbolt 5 interfaces that support daisy-chaining and are compatible with both Windows and Linux platforms. The interface layout has been meticulously optimized for effortless cable management.
