At the September 2026 Patch Tuesday event, Microsoft confirmed that it had addressed issues related to cursor style malfunctions and desktop wallpaper blackouts in the Windows 11 system. These problems were predominantly observed in non-English versions of the OS and stemmed from conflicts between code components. Furthermore, Microsoft also rectified 974 security vulnerabilities, encompassing those related to privilege escalation and remote code execution. The company urged users to implement the update within three days to mitigate the risk of security breaches.
