Apple recently updated its list of vintage products, adding three Mac models: the 2018 Retina display MacBook Air, the 13-inch 2018 MacBook Pro with four Thunderbolt 3 ports, and the 13-inch 2017 MacBook Pro with two Thunderbolt 3 ports. Meanwhile, nine Mac models have been classified as obsolete products. Vintage products refer to those that have been discontinued for more than 5 years but less than 7 years, and Apple may still provide repair services for them; obsolete products refer to those that have been discontinued for more than 7 years, and Apple will cease hardware repair services for them, although battery repairs may continue for up to 10 years.
