Recently, a California appellate court has revived a lawsuit initiated in 2022, which alleges that Apple has been deterring customers from opting for third-party repair services for their cracked iPhone screens. Over the past few years, Apple has progressively eased its constraints on unofficial hardware repairs, paving the way for a greater number of non-official repair services to operate. Nevertheless, Apple still confronts legal challenges stemming from its previous policies.
