According to reports from various agencies, global smartphone shipments are projected to plummet by 2026, a trend fueled by the rising costs of storage and chips, along with a decrease in consumer purchasing power. On August 26, IDC released a report revealing that smartphone shipments globally are expected to marginally surpass 1 billion units in 2026, marking a significant 16.7% year-on-year decline.
