Late last month, AMD introduced the Radeon RX 9050 graphics card, tailored for the entry-level market and equipped with the Navi 44 chip. This graphics card comes in two variants: an 8GB model and a 4GB model. Initially, the official website solely showcased details for the 8GB version. However, with the advent of the AMD Software Adrenalin Edition 26.8.1 driver, support for the 4GB version has been incorporated, and it has been duly added to the product page. The memory bus width, capacity, bandwidth, and Infinity Cache of the 4GB version are all precisely half of those found in the 8GB version, which consequently impacts its performance. This variant is primarily geared towards light gaming or scenarios where memory demands are relatively low.
