Habitat has successfully closed a Series A funding round worth RMB 700 million, representing the most substantial financing deal in China's home furnishing primary market over the past three years. This funding initiative was spearheaded by the Changzhou Xinbei District Science and Technology Innovation Fund. The proceeds will be allocated towards setting up a global headquarters and a research and development (R&D) hub for smart homes in Changzhou. This move is set to expedite the advancement of AI-driven smart home technologies and the execution of an ecological platform strategy. Prior to this, the company unveiled its inaugural smart home product, the L32, which features a home AI agent, in March 2025. Habitat has also built a direct sales network spanning seven cities, with its annual contracted projects surpassing RMB 1 billion.
