On August 17, LG Electronics made a public statement revealing that it has channeled roughly $310 million into establishing a brand-new home appliance factory in Paraná, Brazil. This move signifies the creation of its second production facility within the nation. The plant boasts an impressive annual production capacity of approximately 600,000 refrigerators. In its initial phase, it will cater to the needs of the Brazilian domestic market. However, there are well-laid plans to transform it into a pivotal production and export center for the entire Latin American region in the future.
