Lenovo is in the process of creating a ThinkBook laptop with a rollable screen, internally referred to as 'Project Swan.' The screen is designed to extend horizontally from both the left and right edges and is slated for its first public appearance at the upcoming IFA exhibition next month. This innovative device features a flexible OLED panel, with the unused portions neatly tucked away on either side of the screen cover, and extends outward using electric rails. When not in its extended mode, it closely resembles a standard ThinkBook laptop. The laptop's rear boasts a dual-tone design, complete with an opening mechanism to seamlessly integrate the flexible panel. Lenovo has previously explored various experimental rollable and foldable screen products; however, the precise specifications and production timeline for 'Project Swan' remain under wraps.
