Japan Display Inc. (JDI) announced on Monday that it has received formal acquisition offers from multiple manufacturing companies and data center operators for its display panel plant located in Chiba Prefecture. CEO Scott Callon stated during an earnings call that the company is conducting due diligence with potential partners. The CFO mentioned that JDI aims to complete the plant's sale by March next year to improve its financial situation. Regarding the construction of a new display panel plant in the United States, it will depend on the attitudes of the US and Japanese governments.
