Even the most robust foldable models undergo a depreciation of up to 57% in the same timeframe, with certain models witnessing value drops surpassing 80%. In contrast, traditional smartphones depreciate at an average annual rate of 55.3%, leaving foldable phone users to absorb an average loss of $997.69 in the first year—a figure nearly $400 higher than that incurred by traditional smartphone users.
