As a result, existing users will have no choice but to turn to third-party repair services or troubleshoot issues independently. Presently, all official Black Shark flagship stores have ceased smartphone sales and have transitioned to selling peripherals, such as cooling back clips. Furthermore, the mail-in repair service previously offered on the official website is no longer accessible. Prior to this, Black Shark had already shut down its community servers. The last smartphone model released by the company was the Black Shark 5 series in 2022, and the much-anticipated Black Shark 6 series never materialized.

At one point, Black Shark was a frontrunner in the gaming smartphone market, boasting a market share of up to 47% in 2019. Now, Black Shark has pivoted its focus entirely towards the Esports peripherals (such as gaming gear) and Trendy toy accessories (such as fashionable gadget accessories) sectors. Additionally, Nanchang Black Shark Technology Co., Ltd. has been listed among companies with abnormal business operations, and its actual controller is reported to have zero employees on its payroll.
