As per the Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau, in alignment with the stipulations set forth in the Notice on Implementing Large-Scale Equipment Renewal and Consumer Goods Trade-In Policies in 2026 (FGHZ [2025] No. 1745) issued jointly by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance, as well as the Notice on Enhancing Quality and Efficiency in Implementing the 2026 Consumer Goods Trade-In Policy (SXHF [2025] No. 697) released by the Ministry of Commerce alongside six other departments, and with the aim of further bolstering the efficacy of Beijing's consumer goods trade-in policy, Beijing has resolved to introduce 10 additional categories of products eligible for subsidies. This decision was made following submission to and subsequent confirmation from the Ministry of Commerce. The announcement details are as follows: Individual consumers in Beijing who purchase smart door locks, smart cameras, smart robotic vacuums (encompassing smart floor washers and smart vacuum cleaners), smart toilets (including smart toilet seats), digital cameras (action cameras included), smart headphones, whole-house smart hubs (smart home servers and smart gateways included), smart beds (smart mattresses included), smart electric wheelchairs, and embodied AI robots (such as companion robots, robot dogs, exoskeleton robots, and elderly care robots) will be entitled to benefit from the subsidy policies.
