Apple is set to substantially enhance the specifications of its forthcoming ultra-slim flagship device, the iPhone Air 2, aiming to rectify the battery life limitations observed in its predecessor. The iPhone Air 2 is anticipated to incorporate a higher-capacity battery alongside a cutting-edge 2nm process A20 Pro chip. This chip will feature optimized power management at the chip level and innovative battery materials, promising an estimated increase in battery life exceeding 20%. Moreover, the device will sport a 6.55-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a peak brightness of 3600 nits, and an upgraded dual 48-megapixel camera setup, comprising a primary camera and an ultra-wide-angle lens. The iPhone Air 2 is slated for release in the spring of 2027.
