DJI has escalated its patent protection battle by filing lawsuits in courts spanning multiple regions of China, alleging that Insta360's Luna series products infringe upon its patents. Some of these courts are poised to commence hearings in the near future. The Insta360 Luna series made a splash with its global launch in the United States on June 9th of this year, subsequently becoming available for purchase in both international and Chinese markets. In a resolute move to safeguard its intellectual property rights, DJI has initiated legal actions in the jurisdictions where these products are being sold. The company is urging the courts to mandate Insta360 to promptly halt the production, sale, and offer for sale of the products in question, as well as to provide compensation for the economic losses and legal costs incurred.
