On the evening of June 25 (local time), Apple declared a price increase for certain laptops and tablets across multiple global markets, with the hike amounting to approximately 20%. The reason cited for this adjustment was the substantial rise in the costs of memory and storage chips. Notably, this price revision does not encompass iPhones at present. Within the iPad series, the iPad Pro's starting price has climbed to 10,799 yuan, while the iPad Air's starting price has jumped to 5,999 yuan, to name a few. In the MacBook range, the MacBook Neo's current starting price has escalated to 5,499 yuan, and the MacBook Air's starting price has soared to 9,999 yuan, among others. Apple explained that it had been making efforts to absorb these escalating costs but is now forced to implement price hikes.
